![]() If you enable auto-match, the vocal track will now follow the music track and adjust the gain all the time. You'd then put the first instance on the music track, the second on the vocal track, make sure they are in the same group, so they recognise each other. You can also use it on different channels. You basically set one instance before and one instance after some effects, and you can have it auto-adjust the volume to the after from the before instance, so you won't get tricked into thinking something is better just because now it's louder. ![]() ![]() GainMatch is great for checking a before/after on an effects chain, that's its main intention. Adjust the gain after the second instance to be -5dB.
